It’s the first Canadian Classique of the MLS season on Sunday with both sides looking to return to winning ways.
Montreal have lost two on the bounce while Toronto are winless in four, with three defeats and a draw since beating Atlanta at the end of last month.

Montreal got the better of their rivals across three meetings last year, winning 3-1 and 4-2 at home and drawing 1-1 in Toronto.
The most recent encounter though, in the Canadian Championship at the end of last month, ended in a 4-0 semi-final defeat and midfielder Matko Miljevic is relishing the chance for revenge.
After the most recent loss, to Kansas City, Miljevic told his club’s website: “The group remains united despite obvious mistakes tonight. We are aware that we are giving up avoidable goals.
“The important thing now is to turn the page, return to training hard on Monday and prepare for the game against Toronto.
“It will be a chance to bounce back from a tough loss in the Canadian Championship. We have everything we need to compete at the top of the standings.”
Manager Wilfried Nancy also highlighted the errors leading to goals against Kansas City and they have now gone eight games without keeping a clean sheet.
At the other end, only twice since the opening game in February have they failed to score in MLS.

Toronto are one of two MLS teams without a win on the road in 2022 and have lost five of their last six away from home.
That would have been six in a row but for Jonathan Osorio’s last-minute leveller against bottom club DC United in May.
It is a disappointing run for manager Bob Bradley but if there was ever a time to head into a derby this could be it as Montreal are still without injured midfielder Djordje Mihailovic.
Claiming that first road win of the campaign looks beyond them but they can take a share of the points.
