Austria and Norway collide in a winner-takes-all Group A clash with a place in the quarter-finals at UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 at stake.
After a narrow 1-0 loss to England, Austria beat Northern Ireland 2-0 while Norway were thumped 8-0 by the hosts having opened with a 4-1 win against the Irish.

The hosts recorded the biggest win in the competition’s history as they won 8-0 at the Amex Stadium on Monday night.
Martin Sjogren had said pre-match his team were “definitely” underdogs but how things played out was some shock to the system for the side ranked three places below England at 11th in the world.
Sjogren said: “It’s not easy to put into words. Of course everyone felt devastated about the way we looked.
“I really, really feel terrible for the players’ sake, to be out there and to be beaten by England 8-0 in a game we had been looking forward to for quite some time.
“We had a good feeling before the game, we thought we had a good plan, and I thought we played well the first 10 minutes, but then after that, the last 80 minutes was more or less horrible to be honest.”
