Toronto FC will be looking to bounce back when they travel to Charlotte FC on Sunday.

Bob Bradley’s side’s mini revival ended in Miami at the weekend while Charlotte have struggled recently.

An away win at 3.00 is our first Charlotte FC vs Toronto FC prediction.

Charlotte FC Odds

Charlotte have lost five of their last seven matches, a sequence which actually included an eye-catching 3-1 win at New York City, to damage their play-off hopes.

They came close to a point against Orlando City in their last outing, after McKinze Gaines cancelled out Ercan Kara’s opener, but Tesho Akindele struck with one minute remaining to secure a 2-1 victory.

Head coach Christian Lattanzio told Charlotte’s official website: “All in all, I am proud of the way they played because they played to win the game and I liked that.

“They put the game to Orlando but a couple of moments cost us.”

Charlotte had won eight of their previous 10 home games but that loss to Orlando followed another reverse against Chicago.

Sixteen goals have come in Charlotte’s last four home games while Toronto have had 10 in their last two on the road, meaning there should be goals like there were in the reverse fixture when the Canadian side won 4-0.

Over 2.5 goals is 1.57 in the Charlotte FC vs Toronto FC odds.

Toronto FC Odds

Toronto’s five-match unbeaten run ended with defeat to Phil Neville’s side.

Bradley’s team had taken 11 points from a possible 15 after the arrivals of influential Italians Lorenzo Insigne and Federico Bernardeschi.

Insigne was on target again against Miami but goals from Jean Mota and Ariel Lassiter secured the hosts a 2-1 win.

Bradley told Toronto’s official website: “We gave up two very bad goals. We had to really chase the game and put so much into it.

“In the second half, we continued to try to find different ways to get into the box, create chances, but not sharp enough in some of those other moments.”

Toronto have only won one of their 13 away fixtures this term – 4-3 at Nashville earlier this month – while four of Charlotte’s five home losses this season have come by one goal.

The match to be won by one goal exactly is 2.40 in the Charlotte FC vs Toronto FC betting tips.
