Toronto will aim to continue their recent resurgence under Bob Bradley when they travel to Real Salt Lake on Saturday.
The Canadian side have won back-to-back games after starting the season with a three-match winless run.
The hosts have excelled in front of their own fans this term, though, so a draw at 3.80 is our opening Real Salt Lake vs Toronto prediction.
Real Salt Lake Odds
Pablo Mastroeni’s team enjoyed a fine start to the season with a draw at Houston followed by three consecutive wins.
They bounced back from their first defeat, at Kansas City, with a 1-1 draw at Colorado last time out and return home to where they have enjoyed recent success.
Real Salt Lake have treated their fans to back-to-back wins at Rio Tinto Stadium, with Bobby Wood scoring in the victories over Seattle and Nashville.
Justin Meram told his team’s official website: “I tell you what, this is a team where there’s this weird feeling.
“It doesn’t matter who steps on the field for us, where we play, who we play, we feel we’re going to win the game or get a result. Last year, we didn’t feel it all the time.
“There’s something about this year, and Pablo’s installing this confidence and mentality in us. We don’t shy away, we don’t think the moments are too big, it doesn’t matter where we play.”
Both teams have scored in three of Real Salt Lake’s last four outings, while that scenario has happened in every match involving Toronto this term.
Looking at the Real Salt Lake vs Toronto odds, we like 1.71 for the trend to continue.
Toronto FC Odds
Toronto seemed to suffer a hangover from last season’s horror show at the start of this campaign, despite appointing one of the most successful coaches in the MLS.
Bradley oversaw three matches without a win, including a 4-1 hammering at home to New York Red Bulls, before hitting some form.
DC United and New York City both left Canada with 2-1 defeats to leave Toronto in mid-table in the Eastern Conference.
Jesus Jimenez struck his third goal of the season against New York and the forward has impressed former USA boss Bradley.
The American told Toronto’s official website: “I think there’s more to come from him.
“Physically, he can push himself and give us more, but he’s an attacker that has just a really good set of skills.”
Bradley’s side may be full of confidence, but they have yet to win away from home this year following a draw at Dallas and a defeat to Columbus Crew.
They scored in both of those games and a 1-1 draw at 7.50 completes our Real Salt Lake vs Toronto betting tips.
