Montreal and Atlanta are in contrasting form heading into their clash at Saputo Stadium on Saturday.
The Impact are unbeaten in their last five matches while United have not won in three.
That makes a home win at 2.10 our opening Montreal vs Atlanta prediction.
Montreal Odds
Montreal started the season with no wins in four matches, losing their first three, but have taken 11 points from a possible 15 since.
They could not secure a fourth consecutive victory at Philadelphia on Saturday, although they did salvage a 1-1 draw courtesy of Kei Kamara’s second goal in four games.
Boss Wilfried Nancy told the Impact’s official website: “The guys managed to get this point by playing a good away game against a team that plays very direct and puts in a lot of physical intensity.
“The points that we collect like today are important. It proves that the team remains resilient and does not give up. I was not happy with the first half, but in the second the players responded.”
The Impact are unbeaten in their previous three home matches against Atlanta, with nine goals scored in total, while they drew 3-3 earlier this season.
Over 2.5 goals is 1.78 in the Montreal vs Atlanta odds.
Atlanta Odds
Atlanta’s dip in form continued on Sunday with a 2-1 defeat at Inter Miami.
They went ahead through Ronaldo Cisneros’ early effort, but Phil Neville’s side hit back via goals from Leonardo Campana and Bryce Duke.
Head coach Gonzalo Pineda told Atlanta’s official website: “There were moments in the game where I felt that we had the more dominant side.
“We created enough chances in my opinion. But things like this have happened to us that we just need to be more clinical.
“And also the goals we are conceding are not up to the standard we want to concede. We just need to do better on both ends.”
Atlanta produced a stirring comeback against Montreal last month, scoring twice in the last five minutes to secure a 3-3 draw.
They broke the deadlock through Josef Martinez in that game, and have done so in all five matches they have scored in this season.
With the Impact conceding the opener in six of their eight outings, the visitors to open the scoring at 2.25 completes our Montreal vs Atlanta betting tips.
