Tottenham are the 5/1 favourites to win the Europa Conference League as they prepare to begin their campaign in north-west France.
They face a tricky opener with Rennes third in the outright betting at 14/1 and both teams are struggling for goals.

Rennes played in the Champions League last season but made little impact as they finished bottom of Chelsea’s group with just a draw at home to Krasnodar to show for their efforts.
All three of their goals came on home soil and Rennes will hope to be more productive in the inaugural Europa Conference League, having qualified with a 5-1 aggregate win against Rosenborg.
They have suffered back-to-back 2-0 defeats against Angers and Reims since then and are 11th in Ligue 1 with only three goals scored in five matches.

Spurs made a dream start to the season with three straight wins leaving them top of the table and Nuno Espirito Santo named manager of the month for August.
They began September in the worst possible fashion, though, as they slumped to a 3-0 defeat at Crystal Palace, not helped by the dismissal of Japhet Tanganga, and the result was perhaps no surprise after a difficult international period.
They lost star man Son Heung-min and attacking threat Steven Bergwijn to injury while Argentinian pair Cristian Romero and Giovani Lo Celso and Colombia’s Davinson Sanchez are in Croatia in order to avoid a hard quarantine following their decision to travel to South America for World Cup qualifiers last week.
Eric Dier also picked up a serious-looking knee injury 12 minutes in as Spurs’ plight went from bad to worse but Nuno refused to make excuses.
“This is what the squad is for, no kind of excuses,” he said.
“I believe we have a good squad and enough quality and talent to overcome all the situations. What happened today and what happened during the week, it’s going to repeat all throughout the season so we’re going to have to be ready.
“The players have to be ready to step in and perform, and perform better, and it’s my job to find the higher levels of performance that I believe our squad has.”
Spurs do have the potential to prove too strong for their hosts if Nuno puts out his best available team so we’ll take a chance on them nicking a 1-0 win at 29/4 as our final Rennes vs Tottenham prediction.
