Norwich vs Blackburn

Norwich only need a point to be sure of a place in the Premier League next season but can go up in style by beating Blackburn at Carrow Road.

Rovers will travel to East Anglia in great heart following four straight Championship wins, though, so they could well make their presence felt.

We like 37/20 for a home victory and both teams to score for our initial Norwich vs Blackburn prediction.

A Look At Norwich City’s Betting Odds

Norwich have made hard work of scrambling over the promotion finishing line, with Monday’s 2-2 draw at Stoke being their fourth stalemate in a row.

Onel Hernandez and Teemu Pukki were on target for City against the Potters, but they twice squandered the lead.

Daniel Farke said: “We were, of course, hoping for a win to make our lives easier, but success never comes easy.

“This point in the end could be crucial, so you have to not lose your head and lose the game.

“Our players are so greedy to win and I like this, but there is no reason to doubt ourselves and we go again versus Blackburn.”

With three of those draws finishing 2-2 and the other being 1-1, the Canaries are clearly still capable of scoring goals, but keeping a clean sheet is proving difficult.

City should be able to outgun Blackburn, though, as Rovers have conceded a division-high 46 times on the road this term.

Looking at the Norwich vs Blackburn odds, let’s go with 29/10 for the hosts to oblige 2-1, 3-1 or 4-1 from the multiple correct score market.

A Look At Blackburn Rovers’ Betting Odds

Blackburn would normally fit nicely into the ‘mid-table team with nothing to play for’ category, but picking up maximum points from their last four fixtures hardly backs up that view.

Beating QPR 2-1 and Bolton 2-0 over Easter could be expected, but previous defeats of Derby and Nottingham Forest were much more noteworthy.

Goals from Ben Brereton and Adam Armstrong did the damage against the Trotters on Monday, in a game where Rovers dominated possession and tested visiting keeper Ben Alnwick on several other occasions.

“It’s four wins on the bounce now and we deserved it as well, because we played good football,” beamed Tony Mowbray. “We found a way to win, which was important.”

Overall, though, Rovers have lost 11 times on the road this term, so we’re still happy to take them on with a class act like the Canaries.

Let’s finish off our Norwich vs Blackburn betting tips by taking 19/20 for a home win and over 2.5 goals in the game.
