We were right to oppose Leicester last weekend but we’re much more hopeful for them when they host Burnley on Saturday.
The Foxes slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Brighton to give us three winning predictions at odds of 7/4, 5/1 and 19/2!
This looks a good chance to claim a third win of the season though and the home side to be leading at both half-time and full-time at 13/10 is our opening Leicester vs Burnley prediction.
A Look At Leicester City’s Betting Odds
A trip to in-form Brighton looked a tough way to end a European week and so it proved as Leicester suffered a third loss of the campaign.
Neal Maupay put the hosts ahead from the penalty spot in the 35th minute, sending Kasper Schmeichel the wrong way, and Danny Welbeck doubled Brighton’s lead just after the break with a well-timed header.
Jamie Vardy pulled one back for Leicester before they had two equalisers ruled out in the final stages, with Harvey Barnes judged to be offside and obstructing the goalkeeper on both occasions.
Barnes had scored his first goal of the season against Napoli three days earlier, which was his first since suffering a knee injury in February.
He also set up Ayoze Perez’s opener in the Europa League match so there are signs that he is getting back to full fitness and match sharpness.
Barnes scored in this fixture last season which made it two in two against Burnley having also netted the opener at Turf Moor in January last year.
Barnes could be worth backing as either a first or anytime goalscorer at 4/1 and 6/4 respectively in the Leicester vs Burnley odds.

Ayoze Perez is available for Leicester after serving his three-game ban. Jonny Evans is fit after a foot problem and could make a Premier League start for the first time since April but James Justin (knee) and Wesley Fofana (broken leg) remain out.
A Look At Burnley’s Betting Odds
Only Norwich have made a worse start to the season than Burnley and Sean Dyche’s men have picked up just one point from their first five matches.
A 1-1 draw at home against Leeds has been sandwiched by four defeats, the latest of which was a 1-0 loss to Arsenal which gave us another clean sweep of winners including a correct score prediction at 13/2.
Dyche said: “We go into every game trying to win and there’s never been a lack of edge in our trying.
“In the Premier League it’s tough to win games. We know how to do it, we’ve not done it so far, but we will do.
“We like the energy the crowd did bring on Saturday, they were firmly behind the team and the players responded to that. I thought the players responded but we’ve got to turn those strong performances into wins.”
Burnley are on the road this weekend though and although they have been competitive for long periods in all five matches, only scoring three goals is their biggest issue.
Leicester’s two home matches in the Premier League this season have produced just two goals so the Foxes are not quite at their fluent best but a 2-0 win at 6/1 is our final Leicester vs Burnley prediction.

Burnley will have Josh Brownhill available again after the midfielder shook off a dead leg. Kevin Long has also returned to training but Dyche indicated the weekend fixture would come too soon. Dale Stephens, Wayne Hennessey and Connor Roberts remain sidelined.
