European football acca: Five banker bets for Saturday

We’ve scoured the Continent for banker bets to make up this Saturday’s European football acca and if all five of our selections are successful, it will give us a pay-out of just over 6/1.

Don’t forget that any bets of £5 or more on trebles and upwards with odds of at least 4/1 count towards bwin’s great Acca Madness promotion, with hospitality tickets for Arsenal vs Manchester United, a state of the art tablet, a games console, a month’s worth of Free Bets and other prizes up for grabs!

Also, don’t fret if one of the legs lets you down because our five-team acca insurance ensures we refund minimum £5 stakes as a Free Bet up to £25 when a five-fold is placed on the same day and a single selection goes astray.

Napoli to beat Udinese @ 1/4

Napoli won at Udinese in November and have come out on top in this corresponding fixture at Stadio San Paolo for the past two seasons. It looks like the hosts will have to settle for third spot in Serie A but they have beaten second-placed Roma and drawn with leaders Juventus in picking up 13 points out of a possible 15 of late.

Barcelona to beat Real Sociedad @ 9/50

Barca have to bounce back from Tuesday’s 3-0 hammering at Juventus in the Champions League but have shown before they are capable of shrugging off such setbacks when returning to LaLiga duty. After losing 3-1 at Manchester City, they rallied to prevail 2-1 at Seville and following the 4-0 debacle against PSG, they bagged four straight domestic victories.

Nice to beat Nancy @ 13/20

Nice may be long shots to challenge Monaco and PSG for the French title but they are a mile clear of the rest in Ligue 1 after putting together a nine-match unbeaten run which features six victories. In fact, they have only lost at Monaco in this competition since early November and are unbeaten at home all season. Nancy won well last week but had previously picked up only one point in nine games.

Wolfsburg to beat Ingolstadt @ 19/20

Wolfsburg have been dragged into a relegation battle by back-to-back defeats against Freiburg and Schalke and must target this game for a much-needed win before travelling to fifth-placed Hertha Berlin and then hosting Bayern Munich in their next two fixtures. Ingolstadt have boosted their own survival hopes with a hat-trick of wins over fellow strugglers but we reckon this is a much sterner test that will expose their limitations.

Twente to beat Nijmegen @ 1/2

Twente have struggled for consistency of late but a 3-0 win at Roda and a 2-2 home draw with PSV shows they are still a force to be reckoned with when things go well, especially with Enes Unal in such useful form up front. Nijmegen are coming off a 5-1 thrashing by Ajax that made it 10 defeats in 11 Eredivisie fixtures.
