That was only Vancouver’s second away win, having lost the other seven on the road, and they have relied heavily on their home performances.
The Whitecaps have lost only once at BC Place – to Portland Timbers in April – and have won four and drawn the other two.
They have a knack of leaving it late to stun their opponents, scoring last-minute goals in their previous five home games.

New England’s unbeaten run consists of four wins and the same amount of draws to show they are now hard to beat following a dismal run of form.
Second-half goals from Dylan Borrero and Gustavo Bou ensured they came from behind to beat Minnesota last weekend.
Head coach Bruce Arena told the Revolution’s official website: “Mentally, they adjusted at half-time and gave a much better effort.
“We have some players who can make some special plays.”
The Revolution know where the net is, scoring at least two goals in 11 of their 16 fixtures this term.
Six of those have come in their seven away games, with Vancouver doing the same in four of their previous five home matches.
