Toronto had a terrible start in the return fixture in Cincinnati on Thursday, conceding and having Ralph Priso-Mbongue sent off inside the opening six minutes, before Luciano Acosta’s penalty killed the game in the 57th minute.
Midfielder Luca Petrasso told the club’s official website: “That’s part of the journey. There’s going to be ups and downs. There’s going to be more downs than ups.
“We’ve just got to keep going, got to keep fighting. We just keep working every day, focus on the next game coming up Sunday against Vancouver.
“Learn, move past it, get back to training, focusing on Vancouver, and head out and try to come back with three points.”
Toronto have yet to win on the road this season, drawing two and losing three, and have conceded in all 10 outings this term.
