Toronto upset DC United 2-1 at BMO Field earlier this season but head into the return fixture in Washington on a miserable run of results.

Toronto’s last match summed up their luck at the moment, with Kyle Smith heading in the only goal of the game in injury time for Orlando.

Alejandro Pozuelo was the latest injury victim after pulling out in the build-up and having to make changes is hurting the Reds.
“We’ve caught the bug a bit more than other teams at this point in the season,” added Bono on the club website.
“But one thing I will say about today is that guys who are called upon came on and did their jobs.
“For a long stretch of that game, we had the better chances, we had a pretty good run of the play, defended really well.”
