Kick-off: 2005, 24/05/2019

Stadium: Stade Auguste-Delaune

Reims have enjoyed a successful return to France’s top flight this term, but it is hard to see them coping with PSG in the closing round of fixtures.

The runaway Ligue 1 champions appear to have got a second wind now that the finishing line is in sight and are fancied to outgun their game hosts at Stade Auguste-Delaune.

We’re snapping up 7/5 for an away win and both teams to score for our opening Reims vs PSG prediction.

A Look At Stade Reims’ Betting Odds

After bouncing back from a two-year stint in the second tier, Reims only lost five of their first 29 league games this season, posting 11 wins during the same period.

David Guion’s side then seemed to run out of steam, suffering four defeats in a seven-match winless stretch.

However, Hyun Jun-Suk’s early strike in a 1-0 triumph at Bordeaux helped them to end that barren run and ensure a top-10 finish.

Guion said: “We got quite an early goal and that allowed the boys to believe they could get the victory.

“We are pleased with the clean sheet too, because we hadn’t had one in a while.”

Reims also struck in the opening exchanges when visiting PSG towards the end of September, before eventually going down 4-1.

Looking at the Reims vs PSG odds, we think 14/5 for the visitors to prevail 2-1, 3-1 or 4-1 here has plenty of appeal.

A Look At Paris Saint-Germain’s Betting Odds

Having blazed a trail since the start of the campaign, PSG hit a flat spot last month, winning only once in six Ligue 1 fixtures and bowing out of the French Cup on penalties.

However, a 2-1 success at Angers appeared to get them back on track, because last week’s 4-0 demolition of Dijon was right out of the top drawer.

Despite being without Neymar, Angel Di Maria and Edinson Cavani put PSG in control before Kylian Mbappe cashed in with a double.

Thomas Tuchel commented: “It was important to finish the season well at home. We played well and I am very happy.

“We could have scored more goals but four is great. The party is a bit late in coming, but it is important to celebrate with our supporters.”

Everything is now set up for a carefree, open encounter here, so 31/20 for either side to score in the first 15 minutes is added to our Reims vs PSG betting tips.
