Germany have exceeded our early expectations at the Confederations Cup and are now fancied to reach the final at the expense of Mexico.

Mexico made a promising start when drawing 2-2 with Portugal but have since made rather hard work of securing 2-1 wins against limited outfits in New Zealand and Russia.
El Tri had to come from behind in both of those games and cannot afford to show similar early nerves now taking on stronger opposition.
Russia could easily have been two or three up in Kazan on Saturday and Mexico also benefited from some poor goalkeeping at the other end, so will need to improve against a Germany side playing for the third time in Sochi.
