Odds: Las Palmas 23/2, Draw 25/4, Barcelona 1/5

Kick Off: 2000, 01/03/2018

Stadium: Estadio Gran Canaria

TV: Sky Sports

Las Palmas have lost all five meetings with Barcelona since returning to LaLiga, but they have at least scored in the two home defeats.

Paco Jemez’s side are facing a fight to stay in Spain’s top flight but did claim home wins over Valencia and Malaga recently and have netted in eight straight matches at Estadio Gran Canaria.

We’re kicking off our Las Palmas vs Barcelona betting predictions by taking 7/5 for an away win and both teams to score.

A Look At Las Palmas’ Betting Odds

Jemez became Las Palmas’ third manager of the current campaign when taking charge in mid-December and has been doing his best to get them going in the right direction.

The hosts have lost Loic Remy to Getafe and Jonathan Viera to China since the turn of the year and are struggling for goals on the road.

Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Leganes was a seventh straight away blank, but Jemez has urged his players to be more positive.

“I want to see a different type of football, with more feeling of danger – we forgot to look for our opponents’ goal,” said the manager.

Back on Gran Canaria, Las Palmas do look more threatening going forward and we’re backing them to maintain their average of a goal a game here.

Looking at the Las Palmas vs Barcelona odds, we like 17/2 for a 3-1 away win.

A Look At Barcelona’s Betting Odds

Barcelona went into Saturday’s clash with Girona with a few questions to answer following some laboured displays of late.

They drew twice in LaLiga during February and were a touch fortunate to come away from the first leg of their Champions League clash with Chelsea on level terms.

However, Barca looked back to their best when romping to a 6-1 win over the weekend, with Luis Suarez hitting a hat-trick, Lionel Messi bagging a brace and Philippe Coutinho also on target.

Keeping Ousmane Dembele fit would be a major boost, as he can produce the pace and trickery out wide previously provided by Neymar.

It may be worth noting, though, that Barca were 4-1 up at half-time before easing off and a similar scenario could be on the cards here, with the visitors having one eye on Sunday’s clash with Atletico Madrid.

That makes 2/1 for the Catalan giants to score more of their goals in the first period worth including in our Las Palmas vs Barcelona betting tips.
