Hamilton made a poor start to the campaign but have shown clear signs of improvement over the last two weeks and can prevail at home to Montreal.
Admittedly, the Alouettes are also coming off a couple of encouraging efforts, but the Tiger Cats did beat them here in the play-offs last term.

Having reached the past two Grey Cup finals, only going down in overtime to Winnipeg last year, Hamilton were expected to challenge for top honours again this term.

Montreal justified support in our match preview when winning 40-33 at Ottawa to improve to 2-4 for the season.
New head coach Danny Maciocia will have enjoyed that first victory since succeeding Khari Jones, having previously lost in agonising fashion against Edmonton.
On that occasion, the Alouettes led 31-12 midway through the third quarter but then gave up 20 unanswered points to lose by one, with penalties, interceptions and a fumble recovery featured in that collapse.
Against the Redblacks, Montreal scored 15 points in the fourth period and held firm on defence in the final minute to triumph.
Trevor Harris completed 25 of 31 passes for 341 yards and two touchdowns, while Dominique Davis ran in three more scores.
“It’s just good for us to finish off a win,” quarterback Harris told TSN. “We needed to make sure we finished that because last week we didn’t.
“You don’t get an opportunity to right your wrong quite a bit in pro football, so just glad we were able to be able to do that.”
Montreal have been involved in a number of tight tussles this term, so it is easy to see why they are 1.91 with three points start on the spread.
We just believe Hamilton’s defence will be fired up in front of their own fans and can put enough pressure on Harris to get the win.
