Kick-off: 1930, 26/05/2019

Stadium: Paolo Mazza

AC Milan must win at Spal to push for a top-four finish in Serie A but have developed a nasty habit of fluffing their lines when it matters most in recent years.

The hosts are comfortably placed in mid-table but showing few signs of easing off, so they can play with freedom and seek to exploit any jitters from the Rossoneri.

We reckon 31/20 for I Biancazzurri to avoid defeat is a value bet for our initial Spal vs AC Milan prediction.

A Look At Spal’s Betting Odds

Spal are coming off a couple of defeats, but Leonardo Semplici’s side were ultra-competitive on both occasions.

They only succumbed to an 88th-minute sickener when losing 2-1 at home to high-flying Napoli and recovered from a first-half blitz to only go down 3-2 at Udinese.

Before that, Spal had made it six wins in eight matches when romping to a 4-0 success at Chievo, with Juventus, Roma and Lazio all beaten at this venue during that hot streak.

Andrea Petagna has proved a shrewd loan signing from Atalanta, netting 16 times in 35 Serie A appearances, including the opener in his side’s 2-1 away loss to Milan.

Looking at the Spal vs AC Milan odds, there is plenty of appeal in 50/1 for him to break the deadlock in a 1-1 draw.

A Look At AC Milan’s Betting Odds

Milan have done their best to rally from a sticky patch which brought just one win in seven outings, rattling off a hat-trick of victories this month.

The Rossoneri beat Bologna 2-1 and Frosinone 2-0 at the San Siro either side of a 1-0 triumph at Fiorentina to stay in the hunt for a Champions League spot.

However, they would need Atalanta or Inter to slip up even if successful at Paolo Mazza this weekend and we just fear that could make them vulnerable.

If results elsewhere are going the wrong way, Gennaro Gattuso may struggle to keep his players fully focused.

Let’s finish off our Spal vs AC Milan betting tips by taking 17/4 for a score draw.
