Manchester United have won 12 straight home games in all competitions and can extend that sequence when entertaining Crystal Palace.
The Eagles have not been easy to break down on the road this term, but also don’t score many goals in Premier League away matches.
We reckon 21/20 for the Red Devils to prevail and under 3.5 goals in the game is the way to go with our first Man Utd vs Crystal Palace prediction.
Manchester United Odds
United completed a run of five consecutive league wins when beating neighbours City here last month before suffering some travel sickness.
They conceded in stoppage time when drawing 1-1 away to Palace and were again rocked late on in a 3-2 defeat at Arsenal.
The Red Devils have since enjoyed knockout success on two fronts, though.
Reading were beaten 3-1 in the FA Cup in between 3-0 and 2-0 victories over Nottingham Forest, which put them in the EFL Cup decider.
Newcastle await at Wembley in their first domestic final since 2018, when they lost the FA Cup, and United are one win away from ending a six-year trophy drought.
Erik ten Hag said: “It’s good to reach the final, but it’s not about reaching the final, it’s about winning it – that’s going to be tough, a great opponent.
“But in this moment, I’m not looking ahead, we’re focusing on other things, a big week is coming up in the Premier League.
“We have Crystal Palace and then two games against Leeds and they are going to be great games, derby games that we are looking forward to.”
United have rediscovered their self-belief and now look fully confident of seeing off teams they are supposed to beat, especially on home turf.
Looking at the Man Utd vs Crystal Palace odds, Bruno Fernandes has been getting forward more and more of late and appeals at 13/2 to break the deadlock.
He has scored in three of his last six matches, including the opener when these teams met at Selhurst Park recently.
Last Man Utd line-up: Heaton, Martinez, Varane, Shaw, Wan-Bissaka, Fernandes, Fred, Casemiro, Antony, Weghorst, Garnacho.
Marcel Sabitzer could make his United debut following his loan move from Bayern Munich.
Fellow midfielders Christian Eriksen, Donny van de Beek and Scott McTominay are sidelined but Ten Hag has been boosted elsewhere by the recent returns of Anthony Martial and Jadon Sancho, while Diogo Dalot is also back in training.
Crystal Palace Odds
Michael Olise fired in a stunning injury-time free-kick to earn Palace a point against United in London and they then drew 0-0 with Newcastle on home turf.
Patrick Vieira was impressed by the resilience of his Eagles, who had previously only gone down 1-0 at Chelsea.
He said: “You always want more, but at the same time we have to be realistic against the teams that we played.
“We played Chelsea, we played United and we played Newcastle. Those three teams are on a different level.
“It was important for us to always try to compete as best we can against those teams, and I think we did well, and we got the points that I strongly believe that we deserve.”
Palace have since added to their midfield resources with Stuttgart’s Naouirou Ahamada and Albert Sambi Lokonga, on a loan deal from Arsenal until the end of the season.
They will no doubt set out to frustrate United and have actually done well at Old Trafford in recent years, with last season’s 1-0 loss their first defeat here since 2018.
However, Palace have been hanging on with very little possession in the past few games and the Red Devils should make their dominance in that department count here.
Let’s add 31/10 for a home win by any two-goal margin to our Man Utd vs Crystal Palace betting tips.
Last Palace line-up: Guaita, Ward, Mitchell, Guehi, Richards, Ayew, Eze, Zaha, Schlupp, Doucoure, Edouard.
Wilfried Zaha will not be available for Palace, with the forward expected to miss at least a couple of weeks. Nathan Ferguson, James McArthur and Joachim Andersen are not ready yet.
