What Trueform says for Liverpool vs Bournemouth
Liverpool and Bournemouth have had a similar run of results recently but the Trueform graphic shows the Reds are capable of producing much better performances on their day.
The 5-0 win at home to Watford showed what Jurgen Klopp’s men are capable of against mid-table opposition, and the graphic does not include Champions League games where they reached the semi-finals this week by beating Manchester City.
Bournemouth scraped a point against Crystal Palace last weekend with a late equaliser in their second successive 2-2 draw.
A Look At Liverpool’s Betting Odds
Liverpool had a scare when Gabriel Jesus gave Manchester City early hope in the second leg of their Champions League clash on Tuesday night but in the end the Reds eased through to the last four.
Mohamed Salah’s equaliser on the night effectively ended City’s hopes of a comeback and Roberto Firmino then put the icing on the cake as Liverpool won the second 2-1 to complete a 5-1 aggregate victory.
That proved Liverpool can be as good as anyone in England, although a lack of consistency means they are four points behind Manchester United having played a game more.
Liverpool are unbeaten at Anfield but have dropped points in six games and it remains to be seen how much of a distraction the Champions League run will be.
They should have too much quality for Bournemouth but may not be at their ruthless best as their midweek exertions take their toll so the first of our Liverpool vs Bournemouth betting predictions is the Reds to win by two goals at 31/10.
A Look At Bournemouth’s Betting Odds
Bournemouth have provided plenty of entertainment recently, with goals at both ends in their last eight matches. Manager Eddie Howe admits the shortage of clean sheets is “an area to improve” but at least the Cherries are not struggling for goals and both teams to score appeals at 4/5.
Howe has been the king of the substitutions recently, with his players frequently making an impact off the bench. Jermain Defoe was the late hero against Watford while Josh King’s equalised in the 89th minute against Palace.
“The comeback says lots about the attitude of our players and team,” said Howe. “The players want to go the extra mile, I don’t think we’ve ever lost that and I think its shone again.”
With Liverpool possibly tiring late on or resting key players, we complete our Liverpool vs Bournemouth betting tips with the Cherries to score the last goal at 29/10.
