Inter recently beat AC Milan 3-0 in the Italian Super Cup in Saudi Arabia and are backed to prevail again in Serie A on Sunday.
The Rossoneri won 3-2 in their first league clash of the season back in September but have suffered an alarming dip in form of late.
We’re happy to take Evens for the Nerazzurri to enjoy derby delight for our initial Inter Milan vs AC Milan prediction.
Inter Milan Odds
Inter suffered a blip when beaten at home by Empoli last month but bounced back with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory at Cremonese.
Lautaro Martinez bagged both goals as Simone Inzaghi’s side made it five wins from their last seven Serie A fixtures.
The Nerazzurri are up to second in the table, albeit 13 points adrift of runaway leaders Napoli.
As previously mentioned, they also hammered AC in Riyadh, with Federico Dimarco, Edin Dzeko and Martinez doing the damage.
Tuesday brought a 1-0 Coppa Italia success versus Atalanta at the San Siro, with former Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian on target.
With a Champions League tie against Porto to look forward to, Inter should be in good spirits going into this contest.
It is worth noting that five of their last six wins in all competitions have been by just one goal, though.
Looking at the Inter Milan vs AC Milan odds, we like 27/10 for the designated hosts to oblige by the narrowest of margins again here.
AC Milan Odds
Milan were in decent shape heading into the World Cup break and returned to action with a solid 2-1 win at Salernitana.
However, they have since gone six games without a win, with their results getting worse and worse.
A 2-2 Serie A draw with Roma was nothing to get worried about, but losing to 10-man Torino in extra-time of a cup clash was frustrating.
The Rossoneri had to come from 2-0 down to get a draw at lowly Lecce before being put to the sword by Inter in the Middle East.
Stefano Pioli’s side then suffered a crushing 4-0 loss at Lazio and fell to an even more embarrassing defeat last weekend.
Sassuolo had picked up just two points from eight outings before romping to a 5-2 triumph at this venue.
“It’s a difficult defeat and we are going through a tough time,” admitted Pioli.
“After our draw against Roma, we seem to have lost our way. There are lots of difficulties which are becoming too much, both tactical and mental.
“I’ll have to work more with my players to understand what is needed to get through this difficult period.”
Pioli has been around too long to let all of his good work in recent years fall away and we are expecting some kind of reaction.
He may adopt a cautious approach early on, but 19/5 for Draw HT/Inter FT still appeals for our Inter Milan vs AC Milan betting tips.
