The basketball system in Turkey has five levels starting with the Super League, then followed by the Premier, Second, Regional and University leagues. Betting on basketball in Turkey

A basketball championship season in Turkey runs from the end of September to the end of June. Composed of 16 teams, the regular season of the Turkish Basketball Super League is played in a round-robin format, Each team plays fellow league members across total of 30 games.

At the end of the regular season, playoffs are held involving the top 8 teams while the bottom two teams are relegated to the second division, known as the TBL. During the playoffs, the quarter-finals are played in best-of-three game format, and the semi-finals and finals are played in best-of-five games.

The Turkish basketball league is currently one of the most competitive leagues in Europe.
