Liga ACB Betting
Betting on the 2021/22 season of the Liga ACB
The Spanish basketball championship is one of the most competitive in Europe. It is the only country with three teams that have a long-term license in the Euroleague. Bet on the men's Euroleague basketball with bwin.
The two powerhouses of the Spanish league are teams that football bettors know well: Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.
Both teams are at the top of the leaderboard, and since the 2018/19 season, they always finish the regular season in the top two places in the league, with often more than 30 wins in a 36 game season.
The other teams are also competitive — seven of its 18 teams have won the title at least once in their history. They will fight for places in the Eurocup and FIBA Champions League.
Betting on the 2021/22 season of the Liga ACB
Barca and Real are leading the league with both teams having not lost at the moment.
Who will you bet on for the future champions? Barcelona, the team that won the 2020-21 title, is the clear favourite after beating Real Madrid in the final.
The team that won the league last season is in third place in the list of favourites of the ACB. We're talking about Baskonia who have a guaranteed ticket to the EuroLeague and who won the title in 2020 by beating Barcelona 69-67 in the final.
However, the odds of 17.00 suggest that the chances of this team adding another trophy to the collection are very slim.
Bet on Barça
The 2020 Spanish League MVP is still on the Barca roster. The man in question is Montenegrin post 4 Nikola Mirotić. The 30-year-old seems to be having the season of his life with Barcelona, and bwin expects him to continue his dominance.
Mirotić is their biggest star, but he's not the only one. There are a few other players of similar quality on Barcelona's roster, including Brandon Davies (C), Cory Higgins (SG) and Nick Calathes (PG).
Bet on Real
Edy Tavares is widely regarded as one of the best defenders in Europe. In fact, he has won the EuroLeague's best defender award in the last two years of the tournament.
Standing at 2.21m tall, he is the tallest player in the entire Spanish ACB and one of the tallest basketball players in the world.
Spanish internationals Sergio Llull and Rudy Fernández will probably get a lot of playing time this season.
