Calgary finished strongly to beat Edmonton 30-23 on home turf a couple of weeks ago and can again prevail in the second Battle of Alberta.
The Elks have since secured their first win of the season at Hamilton, but the Stampeders will head to The Brick Field freshened up by a bye week.

The 24-year-old should only improve for that experience, but needed a lot of help from his defence.
They reeled in two second-half interceptions and defensive back Jalen Collins returned a late fumble for a touchdown.
“I need to play better; I made a lot of mistakes,” admitted Ford. “I’m a rookie quarterback, but that’s not an excuse.
“I’ve just got to keep putting my work in. We can do a lot better than we did today. Big shout-out to the defence, they saved us.”

Bo Levi Mitchell shrugged off a niggling injury problem to throw for over 300 yards and a touchdown when Calgary beat Edmonton last month.

If Calgary can begin to start matches better, they could be genuine contenders to go all the way again this term.
However, the stats suggest that the end of each half is where the most points will be scored.
