After former world champion Rob Cross was eliminated from the Premier League on Judgement Night, focus now turns towards the battle for the play-offs.

Glen Durrant sits two points clear of world champion Peter Wright with just two points separating Nathan Aspinall in third to Michael Smith in seventh as the action continues at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes.

If all of our latest picks hit the bullseye, we’ll secure a 27/1-plus pay-out.

Glen Durrant to beat Gerwyn Price @ 3/2

Durrant picked up a fourth victory in a five-match unbeaten streak in the Premier League as he knocked out Cross with a 7-4 win, with the three-time BDO champion averaging just over 106. Price avoided elimination after 7-1 and 7-0 thrashings over Gary Anderson and James Wattimena but ‘Duzza’ has already beaten the Welshman in the competition this year and can make it a double.

Peter Wright to beat Gary Anderson @ 1/1

‘Snakebite’ felt he “played rubbish” despite missing double 12 for a nine-dart finish in his 7-4 win over Daryl Gurney. Anderson bounced back from his pummelling by Price to beat Michael van Gerwen by the same scoreline but Wright is unbeaten in six meetings with ‘The Flying Scotsman’ and is playing the more consistent darts so gets our vote in our Premier League darts predictions.

Michael van Gerwen to beat Nathan Aspinall @ 39/50

Van Gerwen was again out of sorts as he suffered a second successive defeat and has now dropped to fourth in the standings having won the league stage for seven successive years. Aspinall is a point clear in third but was fortunate to beat Smith, who squandered eight opportunities to earn a point. We cannot see the Dutchman losing for a third time in a row!

Daryl Gurney to beat Michael Smith @ 21/10

Having lost to Wright, Gurney avoided elimination courtesy of Cross’ defeat to Durrant but the Northern Irishman had beaten Chris Dobey and Aspinall the previous two nights. Smith’s double trouble saw him suffer a third loss in four games so it will be interesting to see his mindset. We feel a revitalised Gurney can take advantage of his lifeline and that completes our Premier League darts predictions.
