The Premier League semi-finals and final take place at the O2 Arena on Thursday night.
Defending champion Michael Van Gerwen faces Daryl Gurney while Rob Cross plays 2009 winner James Wade.
Here are our Premier League darts predictions for the conclusion of the tournament.
Michael Van Gerwen to beat Daryl Gurney 10-6 @ 6/1
Van Gerwen took advantage of Cross’ slip-up against Wade to finish top of the pile for the seventh consecutive season. However, the Dutchman had a slightly inconsistent campaign by his own high standards. Gurney beat Michael Smith in Leeds to finish fourth and will have the confidence he can beat Van Gerwen after doing the double over him during the regular season. But the Northern Irishman is making his finals night debut and Van Gerwen’s experience and better head-to-head record should see him make a seventh consecutive Premier League final.
James Wade to beat Rob Cross 10-8 @ 17/2
Wade and Cross will face each other for the second time in as many weeks. The Machine’s win in West Yorkshire enabled him to finish third and avoid Van Gerwen, who beat Cross to top spot. This could go either way, especially taking into account a 6-6 head-to-head record, but Wade knows how to handle the big occasion. The 36-year-old won the Premier League in 2009 and has also made the final twice.
Wade to win Premier League @ 7/1
Van Gerwen may be the odds-on favourite to win a fourth title in a row but Wade will not be overawed. He is not afraid of playing Van Gerwen and claimed a win and a draw during the regular season. Wade has already won a series of PDC titles this season and this could be his night to add another to his collection.
