2023 Grammy Awards odds & predictions

We’re taking a look at the 2023 Grammy Awards odds to see which artists and songs are expected to challenge for the top gongs on Sunday.

The ceremony will return to Los Angeles after last year relocating to Las Vegas because of Covid-19 and will be held at Crypto.com Arena.

Trevor Noah, who recently left his post as host of The Daily Show on Comedy Central, will be master of ceremonies for the third time.

Here are our 2023 Grammy Awards predictions in three of the major categories:

Song of the Year

Adele has received seven nominations and her pop ballad Easy On Me is the favourite at Evens to get the nod here. It spent 10 weeks at the top of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and broke streaming records on Spotify and Amazon Music.

However, Harry Styles enjoyed an even longer stint at number one across the Atlantic with 5/2 chance As It Was, which was up there for 15 weeks. That made it the fourth-longest chart topper in history and set a new milestone for a UK act.

American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift broke fresh ground when her 10-minute version of All Too Well became the longest track to top the US chart, with the reworked number being hailed as “epic” by music critics and rated at 3/1.

Beyonce’s Break My Soul could be a lively longshot at 10/1, but Styles is the only one of the leading contenders to be performing live on the night and that makes him worth support.

Album of the Year

Beyonce’s seventh studio album Renaissance was widely acclaimed as a breath of fresh air following the Covid-19 pandemic and was voted top of its class by the Los Angeles Times, The New York Times and Rolling Stone, so that will do for us at 3/4.

Adele once again bared her soul with 30, a fourth offering from the Londoner which generated huge sales figures and is 5/2 to prevail here. Having won this award with 21 and 25, the hat-trick can’t be ruled out, but many feel 30 lacks as much strength in depth.

Styles is again in the mix with 3/1 shot Harry’s House, which at one point had three other top-10 entries alongside As It Was. Although incredibly charming, we still believe Beyonce’s pulling power will win the day.

Best New Artist

Atlanta rapper Latto enjoyed a breakthrough year in 2022, earning a number of MTV award nominations and picking up the BET Hip Hop Awards song of the year gong with Big Energy. Already a positive role model, she will be hard to beat and is a worthy 11/20 favourite.

Anitta has been a big star in Brazil for some time but is now getting international recognition and can be backed at 3/1 here.

British indie rock band Wet Leg have come a long way from the Isle of Wight on the back of hit singles like Chaise Longue and Wet Dream. Styles is one of their prominent supporters and 10/1 could tempt some punters to lump on.
