Arena: Scotiabank Arena
Toronto and Detroit will meet for the fourth and final time this season with the Maple Leafs seeking to complete a series clean sweep.
All three previous encounters have been high-scoring affairs, which saw the Red Wings beaten 5-4 in October, 7-4 in January and 10-7 in February.
Let’s stick with that trend to continue and go with 1.91 for a home win and over 6.5 goals in our Toronto Maple Leafs vs Detroit Red Wings predictions.

Toronto Maple Leafs Odds
Toronto did us a big favour when finishing off a tough three-match road trip with a 4-3 shootout victory at Washington.
That result gave us a trio of successful selections in our match preview, including a 12.5 correct score pay-out.
The Maple Leafs trailed 3-1 in the third period but fought back and Alexander Kerfoot finally settled a long run of penalties.
“It was a real gutsy effort for the guys to find a way there,” declared head coach Sheldon Keefe.
“We didn’t have much in the tank. It seemed like we were playing on fumes most of the night. We were encouraging the guys at 3-1 not to accept their fate and keep pushing.”
Getting back on home ice should be a boost, as Toronto have won nine of their last 10 matches at Scotiabank Arena.
Offence is usually regarded as the best form of defence, though, as they have conceded more than once in nine straight outings at this venue.
Looking at the NHL odds for this contest, 2.15 for a home win in regular time and both teams to score at least two goals is an obvious pick.
Detroit Red Wings Odds
Detroit will no doubt be happy to see a disappointing campaign come to an end but they did prevail 3-0 at New Jersey on Sunday.
Alex Nedeljkovic made 17 saves for his fourth shutout of the season, while Oskar Sundqvist and Tyler Bertuzzi each had a goal and an assist.
Having previously lost 7-2 to Pittsburgh to make it six defeats in eight games, that was a rare show of defiance from the Red Wings.
“I think it was a big game for some guys to kind of rebound and right the ship, myself included,” commented Nedeljkovic.
“We have to find a way to stop the bad nights from happening and come up with more of these kinds of performances.”
New Jersey were ravaged by injuries and illness, though, so this promises to be a totally different test.
Let’s add 11.0 for a 5-2 home victory to our Toronto Maple Leafs vs Detroit Red Wings predictions.
