Wales got off to a solid start at Euro 2020 when drawing with Switzerland and will now be looking to kick on by beating Turkey.
However, despite struggling against Italy, the Crescent Stars are a decent outfit and will benefit from a strong support in Baku.
We reckon 2/1 for a stalemate at Olympic Stadium is the way to go with our first Turkey vs Wales prediction.
A Look At Turkey’s Betting Odds
Turkey were totally outplayed in a 3-0 loss to Italy, having just 37 per cent of the possession and not a single shot on target.
The Crescent Stars hung on until half-time but Merih Demiral’s own goal early in the second period paved the way for an emphatic defeat.
Head coach Senol Gunes admitted: “They were more dominant than us, we lost the ball so many times and this just gave the advantage to our opponent.
“After we conceded the first goal, we just really got distracted and lost control of the game. I’m not very satisfied with the score. I was expecting better football here.”
However, he added: “The competition will continue. We have two more important games against Wales and Switzerland. We’ll tidy ourselves up and will start to prepare for those.”
Turkey had been unbeaten in six previous games this year, including a 4-2 win over the Netherlands in a World Cup qualifier, so they are no mugs.
Looking at the Turkey vs Wales odds, we also like 3/1 for the scores to be level at half-time and full-time.
A Look At Wales’ Betting Odds
Wales will have been well satisfied with their 1-1 draw against Switzerland, when showing good spirit to come from behind.
The Swiss deservedly led via Breel Embolo’s effort just after half-time but Kieffer Moore’s excellent 74th-minute header earned the Dragons a point.
Captain Gareth Bale told BBC Sport: “We showed our class to keep playing and fight for the goal back. It was a good equaliser.
“We worked hard and it was difficult in the heat as well. We showed a lot of fight, determination and character…and I’m proud of the boys.
“We have to use this as a springboard for the next game.”
Interim boss Robert Page added: “That togetherness and grit the players showed was no surprise to me, I see it day in and day out.”
In what was a difficult match for the Dragons, Juventus star Aaron Ramsey caught the eye getting forward from midfield when possible.
Let’s finish off our Turkey vs Wales betting tips by taking 7/1 for him to score at any time.
A healthy record of 16 goals in 64 international appearances for the former Arsenal ace makes that price even more tempting.
