Tottenham to beat Sheffield United @ 33/100
We kick things off in the Premier League, where we’re predicting a win for Tottenham away against Sheffield United, eight days after officially relegating Vincent Kompany’s Burnley side back down to the Championship.
Spurs lost 2-0 to Man City in their last game, and can no longer qualify for next season’s Champions League, however, if they win against the Blades this weekend, they’ll qualify for the Europa League. Last season, Tottenham didn’t finish inside the European places, so ending the season in fifth would show the improvements made since Ange Postecoglu joined the club.
Bayer Leverkusen to beat Augsburg @ 27/100
Bayer Leverkusen are simply never losing…
Xabi Alonso’s side were 2-0 down against Roma in the UEFA Europa League semi-final second-leg last week, but two late goals saw their unbeaten run reach 49 games, a new European record, showing the grit and determination that the 2023/24 Bundesliga Champions possess. At the weekend, they extended that run to 50 games, and will be hoping to 53 by the end of the season.
Leverkusen might have already won the Bundesliga, but they want to go the whole season without losing, and that’ll happen if they avoid defeat this weekend against Augsburg, which we are expecting them to do
Real Madrid to beat Villarreal @ 21/20
Real Madrid play two more games in La Liga before they end the season in London with the Champions League final, where they’re hoping to win Europe’s top club competition for the 15th time.
Los Blancos travel to Villarreal this weekend, and whilst they already have the league wrapped up, Carlo Ancelotti will want to see his side continuing to win games in preparation for their game against Dortmund on June 1, and we’re pegging them to do just that.
PSG to beat Metz @ 3/5
Sunday marks Kylian Mbappe’s final league game as a PSG player, with a move to Real Madrid almost certainly set to take place this summer. The French giants have won the league already, but will want to beat 16th placed Metz, who need to win and hope Le Harve lose to confirm their place in next season’s Ligue 1.
The win means more than just pride, as they have a Cup final next weekend against Lyon, which will they’ll want to go into off the back of yet another win, which would take them to 76 points for the season.
Inter Milan to beat Lazio @ 33/50
This isn’t the final weekend of Serie A action, as the season ends next weekend. Two wins for Inter Milan, who have already won the league, would take their tally for the season to an incredible 98 points, showing just how fantastic Inzaghi’s side has been this campaign.
Unfortunately, they don’t have back-to-back Champions League finals to look forward to, but we’re pegging them to beat Lazio this weekend, who actually need the win more than their opponents this weekend, given that they’re still in the fight for a spot in next season’s Champions League.
