After two classic semi-finals, we’re expecting the French Open decider between Novak Djokovic and Stefanos Tsitsipas to be a one-sided affair.

The Serbian superstar looks pumped up as he targets a 19th grand slam title, whereas his Greek opponent will be competing in a maiden major final.

We can’t see past 7/5 for Nole to enjoy a smooth 3-0 success for our opening Djokovic vs Tsitsipas prediction.

A Look At Novak Djokovic’s Betting Odds

Djokovic had to come through a surprising scare when trailing Lorenzo Musetti 2-0 and was also given a tough work-out by Matteo Berrettini.

It would have been easy for him to take the easy way out when going behind versus Roland Garros legend Rafael Nadal in the semis.

However, the world number one fought back to prevail 3-6 6-3 7-6 6-2 with possibly his greatest performance on clay.

“Definitely the best match that I was part of ever in Roland Garros, for me,” beamed Djokovic. “And top three matches that I ever played in my entire career.

“Considering the quality of tennis, playing my biggest rival on the court where he has had so much success and has been the dominant force in the last 15-plus years.

“Plus, the atmosphere, which was completely electric. Just one of these nights and matches that you will remember forever.”

Conditions do seem to be suiting Djokovic in Paris this summer and he was clearly high on confidence and self-belief following the Nadal triumph.

He added: “Even though I didn’t have such a great start, I was not too nervous because I felt like I was hitting the ball very well.

“It was just a matter of me working my way into the match and adjusting to his ball, which is completely different than any other player’s ball.

“But I was ready. I was feeling good mentally, physically. I was motivated. I had a really clear plan in tactics.”

The Serbian is usually ruthless once getting on top, so Evens for him to win at least six more games than his opponent also appeals from the Djokovic vs Tsitsipas odds.

A Look At Stefanos Tsitsipas’ Betting Odds

Tsitsipas enjoyed a pretty straightforward run to the last four, with just one set dropped versus John Isner and a 6-3 7-6 7-5 defeat of Daniil Medvedev particularly impressive.

However, the 22-year-old seemed nervous at times during a 6-3 6-3 4-6 4-6 6-3 victory over Alexander Zverev in the semis.

After becoming the first Greek player to reach a grand slam final, Tsitsipas was in tears as he reflected on that achievement.

“All I can think of is my roots, where I came from outside Athens,” he said. “My dream was to play here. My dream was to play on the big stage of the French Open one day.

“It was nerve-racking, it was so intense…I had the crowd with me. They were cheering me on, they were giving me their energy.

“It was very difficult, very emotional. I went through a lot of phases of emotional breakdowns but this win means a lot. This win is the most important one of my career so far.”

Despite trailing 5-2 in head-to-head meetings, Tsitsipas can take heart from his last couple of encounters with Djokovic.

Last year’s semi-final clash here went to five sets and the Greek was ahead in Rome recently before falling 4-6 7-5 7-5.

This occasion may just get the better of him, though, and we reckon an early break for Djokovic could set the tone.

For those wanting a quick pay-out, let’s add 2/1 for Nole to lead 4-2 after six games to our Djokovic vs Tsitsipas betting tips.
