Lewis Hamilton is hard to oppose in the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix odds but a prohibitive price means we are looking at other betting markets for more value.
Top of our list is 9/10 for McLaren driver Carlos Sainz to finish in the first six at Silverstone this weekend.
The Spaniard slipped from fourth place to 13th due to late tyre trouble in the British Grand Prix, missing out on points for the first time this season.
Sainz told the F1 website: “It’s a very frustrating end to an otherwise very strong race.
“In general, my luck hasn’t been with me in the first three or four races and we lost a lot of points here.
“Disappointed, I’m not going to lie, but at the same time everything was done correctly a few laps to the end.”
He added: “I think we are making very good progress as a team and the car feels a step up on last year’s car.
“We’ve improved the downforce and the whole package and, on the positive side, the car felt good on track.”
Pirelli have launched a probe into the dramatic puncture problems which also ruined the hopes of Valtteri Bottas and had Lewis Hamilton hanging on for victory.
As long as the situation can be resolved, Sainz is fancied to gain compensation in our 70th Anniversary Grand Prix predictions.

Daniel Ricciardo was one of the drivers to benefit from the misfortune suffered by Bottas and Sainz but the signs are still encouraging for Renault following his fourth-place finish.
After ending up just over a second away from a 30th podium spot, the Australian reflected on a promise-packed performance, with teammate Esteban Ocon also doing well in sixth.
“We had pace and it was a good race for the team,” said Ricciardo. “We were assisted by some chaos, but we were definitely a top-six car and that’s pleasing.”
Team principal Cyril Abiteboul added: “It was a very good result from a team perspective and one of our strongest since our return to Formula 1.
“After tracks where the car struggled, Silverstone’s layout confirmed the strengths and weaknesses of the car.
“We also had strong reliability and that’s so important when we have eventful races like this one.”
