The Vancouver Canucks have just nine games to force their way into the playoff picture in the Pacific Division.
They currently sit six points behind the Los Angeles Kings with time running out.
Vegas are four points ahead of the Canucks so a victory here will be vital on home ice and they can edge it by one goal at 8.50 as our first Vancouver Canucks vs Vegas Golden Knights prediction.

Vancouver Canucks Odds
This will be the final meeting this season between the Canucks and Golden Knights with Vegas currently holding a 2-1 series lead.
The Canucks won 5-1 last time out at T-Mobile Arena earlier this month and will hope to carry momentum from that game into this one.
Alex Chiasson had a goal and an assist on Saturday as the Canucks made it three wins in a row with the 4-2 win over the San Jose Sharks to keep them firmly in the playoff picture.
“Feels good to contribute to the success of the team, and we obviously know how important all these games are,” Chiasson said. “Just a gutsy effort, I thought.
“It feels good at this time of the year to feel good about your game. It’s a nice opportunity for myself to showcase what I can do.”
The Canucks can come out strong as they bid to close the gap on Vegas and are 1.91 to get the first goal of the game in the Vancouver Canucks vs Vegas Golden Knights odds.
Vegas Golden Knights Odds
Vegas have hit form at the right time as they close in on the Los Angeles Kings for third in the Pacific Division.
Two points back of the injury-hit Kings with a game in hand presents a perfect opportunity for them to climb into the all-important top-three spots in the division.
Max Pacioretty scored in the 6-1 win over the Arizona Coyotes at the weekend after an absence of 12 games but felt his conditioning caught up with him.
“I’ve come back from a lot of injuries before, so it wasn’t the craziest situation to be in,” Pacioretty said.
“In the second there, I got a little fatigued, so I had to make sure I had to bear down in the third. I was better in the third. The goal feels good, but at the same time, you’re wondering how you’re going to manage the game.”
Defenceman Brayden McNabb knows how important the run-in to the season is going to be.
“We know we have a chance, and we know we kind of control our own destiny,” McNabb said.
“We’ve got a big road trip coming up. So it’s almost like last game, where you have to flush this one and be ready for the next one.”
In a game where both teams will go all out for victory, the Canucks to win with over 6.5 goals at 4.40 is the last of our Vancouver Canucks vs Vegas Golden Knights betting tips.
