Los Angeles have gone five games without a win but their last victory was when visiting Ottawa and they are taken to confirm that superiority.
The Senators are on a woeful run of form themselves, picking up just one triumph in 10 outings and conceding 17 times in three defeats this week.

Los Angeles Kings Odds
Los Angeles slipped to 0-3-2 since a seven-game winning streak when going down 6-2 to Toronto at Staples Center.
Kings head coach Todd McLellan hit out at his side after a disjointed display, with four goals conceded in the second period.
“Let’s face it, the 20 players that dressed tonight, nobody was helping anybody out,” he blasted.
However, Los Angeles had been competitive in four previous reversals, only losing out by one goal three times – with two of those defeats coming in overtime.
During the earlier hot streak, the Kings scraped home by the narrowest of margins in four of those seven straight victories, so tight tussles are a recurring theme.
Looking at the NHL odds for this game, we like 7.5 for Los Angeles to shade it by one again.
Ottawa Senators Odds
Ottawa have found it tough to get going again since being forced to postpone three matches due to a Covid outbreak.
They were beaten 7-5 in Colorado, went down 6-3 away to San Jose and then suffered a 4-0 shutout when visiting Anaheim yesterday.
The Senators will look back on Chris Tierney hitting the post in the second period, when they also failed to take advantage of a couple of powerplays.
“I thought we were carrying the play pretty good in the second,” said head coach DJ Smith. “We had a lot of chances but just didn’t capitalise.
“There is not a lack of effort there. They’re trying. They’re frustrated we’re not scoring and when you’re losing, you open it up and you give up more chances.”
Late collapses have proved the problem for Ottawa, who have been outscored 29-9 in the third period.
It is hard not to go with Los Angeles to fare best in the final 20 minutes at 2.0 in our NHL predictions.
