Arena: FLA Live Arena
Florida and Edmonton have both lost their last two matches but we reckon it will be the Oilers who suffer an unhappy hat-trick of defeats.
The Panthers romped to a 6-0 triumph when these teams met in Canada last month and are still on course to finish top of the Eastern Conference table.
Andrew Brunette’s side often enjoy big victories when they prevail, so 2.15 for a home win by more than one clear goal kicks off our Florida Panthers vs Edmonton Oilers predictions.

Florida Panthers Odds
Florida returned from the All-Star break with four straight wins to put them on 16-3-1 since the turn of the year.
However, an overall home record which stood at an impressive 23-3-0 has been rocked by a 6-4 loss to Nashville at FLA Live Arena and a 6-3 defeat by Columbus.
Brunette felt the Blue Jackets reversal was a wake-up call and urged his players to learn from that harsh lesson.
“I think we had our opportunities throughout the game,” said the interim coach. “Our reaction time might have been a little slow.
“We probably wanted things a little easier. We didn’t get to the areas we need to get to in order to create those second chances. It was going to be that type of game.”
The Panthers have been good at bouncing back this term, though, losing three straight in regular time on just one occasion back in December.
Looking at the NHL odds, we fancy Florida to make a statement here and like 5.0 for a home win by three goals.
Edmonton Oilers Odds
Edmonton put themselves in decent shape to at least secure a wildcard spot when winning five in a row this month but their progress has now stalled.
They were beaten 7-3 at home by Minnesota on Sunday and then went down 5-3 at Tampa Bay on Wednesday.
There were some promising signs in the Lightning loss, with the Oilers outshooting their opponents 30-23 and battling back from 4-1 down to be just one behind until conceding a late empty-netter.
“There was a lot of good in that game in Tampa Bay and we’ve tried to mine that game for a lot of the good things that the team did,” stated head coach Jay Woodcroft.
“We know we can be better in certain moments and we know we can go a little bit farther here in terms of pushing our pace of play, pushing our details.”
Edmonton are always a threat going forward with attacking firepower from the likes of Leon Draisaitl, Connor McDavid, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Zach Hyman.
However, Florida are way out in front in terms of goals scored this term, with their tally of 213 being 12 better than the next best and 55 above the Oilers.
Let’s finish off our Florida Panthers vs Edmonton Oilers predictions by taking 2.7 for a home win in regular time and both teams to score at least twice.
