Group E Euro 2020

Resurgent Spain are red-hot favourites for top spot in Euro 2020 Group E, with Poland and Sweden predicted to battle it out for second place and Slovakia priced up as longshots to finish at the summit.

La Roja have disappointed at the last three major tournaments but Luis Enrique has rekindled some of the sparkle which brought a couple of European Championship triumphs and a World Cup win between 2008 and 2012, going unbeaten through qualifying.

Poland, who reached the quarter-finals four years ago, only conceded five goals in 10 qualifiers when finishing six points ahead of Austria in a solid section and will hope to have Robert Lewandowski fully fit up front.

Sweden have only made it past this point once from five attempts since semi-finalists in 1992 but did hold Spain to a 1-1 draw on home turf in qualifying when five points behind them in second spot.

Slovakia showed plenty of spirit to come through two tight tussles in the play-offs, edging out Republic of Ireland on penalties before beating Northern Ireland in extra-time, but have found major tournaments tough in the past.
