Mexico head into the quarter-finals as the 6/4 favourites in the CONCACAF Gold Cup winner odds and will hope to prove why when they face 22/1 outsiders Honduras.
Mexico have won the Gold Cup a record 11 times including three of the last five editions so there is plenty of reason to think they are the team to beat.

A Look At Honduras’ Betting Odds
Honduras were CONCACAF Gold Cup winners in 1981 but will need to defy the odds if they are to stay on track to repeat that success.
Last month’s friendly in Atlanta will give them some confidence at least as the two teams played out a goalless draw.
Honduras only had 29 per cent of the ball but managed four shots on target to Mexico’s none so there is potential for the underdogs to cause problems.
They made a dream start to their Gold Cup campaign with a 4-0 thrashing of Grenada and then came from behind at half-time to beat Panama 3-2 before a 2-0 defeat against Qatar meant they had to settle for second place in the group.
We expect Honduras to be competitive but Mexico should be more focused than they were last month and should eventually force a breakthrough.
