Borussia Dortmund have been beaten in the last three DFB Cup finals and Eintracht Frankfurt may be a value bet to inflict more misery on them in Berlin on Saturday night.
Honours have been even between these sides in the Bundesliga over the past few seasons, with each team winning on home turf, so the form is there for a potential upset.
That makes 31/10 for Frankfurt to lift the trophy look generous in the DFB Cup final odds.
A Look At Eintracht Frankfurt’s Betting Odds
It has to be said that Eintracht Frankfurt’s results over the second half of the season have been poor, with just one win and 10 defeats in their last 15 Bundesliga matches.
However, last Saturday’s late rally to draw 2-2 with runners-up Leipzig could hardly have come at a better time to boost morale for this clash.
The Eagles tried to get on the front foot throughout that encounter and it could be argued the goals they conceded were against the run of play.
Getting Mexico international Marco Fabian back from injury has been a big plus, while on-loan Real Madrid defender Jesus Vallejo scored on his return from a month out against Leipzig.
The omens do look good for Frankfurt and 21/4 for them to win in normal time is another of our DFB Cup final betting tips.
A Look At Borussia Dortmund’s Betting Odds
Borussia Dortmund have to be respected, though, after Saturday’s 4-3 defeat of Werder Bremen made it six games unbeaten since being knocked out of the Champions League by Monaco.
Included in that run of positive results was a 3-2 victory at Bayern Munich in the semi-finals of this competition.
Key players Marco Reus and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have been on fire of late, netting seven goals in eight games apiece, so that is one area Frankfurt will have to be wary of.
If we are sticking with Frankfurt, however, then 10/1 they win and both teams score is worth adding to our DFB Cup final predictions.
