Burnley will hope to maintain their excellent home form and book a place in the fifth round of the FA Cup at the expense of Bristol City.
The visitors managed to scrape past Fleetwood Town after a replay in the previous round but have been struggling in the Championship, especially on the road.
A Look At Burnley’s Betting Odds
Burnley were a touch unfortunate to taste defeat at Arsenal last weekend but are still 10 points clear of the Premier League relegation zone, so boss Sean Dyche should feel able to give it a real go in the cup at this stage.
Having a home tie only accentuates that view as the Clarets have been incredibly strong at Turf Moor this term, winning eight top-flight fixtures here and seeing off Sunderland in this competition.
Dyche did make changes for that last game and will almost certainly do so again but he insisted: “We’ve got a very good group and this showed it. There are players here that make it clear to me every day that they are ready.” Burnley to do the business in 90 minutes at 13/20 has to be the call.
A Look At Bristol City’s Betting Odds
Bristol City are teetering just above the Championship drop zone following a nightmare run of eight straight league defeats, with under-pressure manager Lee Johnson admitting: “It’s a horrendous statistic…I’m ashamed of that, of course I am.”
To be fair to the Robins, though, they have only lost by a single goal in each of those games, so if Dyche does shuffle his pack, 5/2 for Burnley to beat them by the exact same margin offers some appeal here.
City had also hit the back of the net in nine of their previous 11 matches before Saturday’s 1-0 loss at Nottingham Forest, making 7/1 for Burnley to win 2-1 fair value.
