Man City will be a little wary of RB Leipzig but should be strong enough to book a place in the last eight of the Champions League. The Blues have been tested a couple of times in Germany, but prevailed 6-3 when these teams met at Etihad Stadium during last season’s group stage.

Inter Milan will take a 1-0 lead to Porto following a hard-fought first leg of this finely-balanced Champions League tie at the San Siro. The Dragons can take heart from having knocked out Roma and Juventus at this stage in recent years, but we feel the Nerazzurri have the nous to qualify.

Benfica look in total control of their Champions League tie with Club Brugge after returning from the first leg in Belgium with a 2-0 lead. The Eagles have a great home record this term and can now afford to take their time and play percentage football at Estadio da Luz.

Chelsea are already through to the Champions League knockout phase and only need a point against Dinamo Zagreb to wrap up top spot in Group E. However, the Blues should be determined to exorcise the demons of Saturday’s Premier League loss at Brighton and put on a show.

Real Madrid still need to beat Celtic at the Bernabeu to clinch top spot in Champions League Group F and will be hoping to avoid any dramas. Los Merengues are showing signs of wear and tear following a tough schedule, plus their home pitch has been in better shape.

Liverpool are safely through to the knockout rounds of the Champions League but have only a slim chance of pipping Napoli to top spot in Group A. The Reds would need to win by four clear goals, but they will be keen to bounce back from Saturday’s shock loss to Leeds here.

Liverpool will be looking for a response when they travel to Ajax on Wednesday night. The Reds’ mini revival came crashing to a halt on Saturday with a defeat at struggling Nottingham Forest, while Ajax have restored some confidence in their last two outings.
