Premier League Golden Boot odds: Erling Haaland clear front-runner after Wolves trashing

Erling Haaland is the clear favourite in bwin’s Premier League Golden Boot odds, despite his recent poor run of form.

The Norwegian striker is leading the goal scoring charts in the Premier League, at the time of writing, with 25 goals in 28 games. Despite only having scored four more goals in the league than Cole Palmer, who many view as one of the country’s most in-form players, Haaland is still seen by the bookies as the clear front-runner in the Premier League Golden Boot race.

As we enter the final few games of the season, bwin takes you through the seven favourites in the Premier League Golden Boot race, starting with the favourite Haaland.

Premier League Golden Boot race – The favourites

Erling Haaland – 25 goals

Erling Haaland is as short as 1/50 with bwin to win back-to-back Golden Boots in the Premier League, with Man City now having just three games left before the end of the 2023/24 season.

City are coming off the back of a tremendously positive week, where they kept the pressure on Arsenal with a brilliant 5-1 win over Wolves, where Haaland scored four of the goals.

They’ll be two points clear at the top of the Premier League if they win their game in hand, and have a relatively easy run-in with their remaining fixtures, which is why not only does bwin have them as favourites to win the 2023/24 campaign, but also has Haaland as the clear front-runner to end the season as top goalscorer.

Cole Palmer, Alexander Isak, Ollie Watkins, Mohamed Salah, Dominic Solanke & Heung-min Son

In second place is Palmer, who has scored 21 times in the league during his first season with Chelsea, putting him in the running for a spot in England’s Euro 2024 side, as well as in the conversation for the Premier League Golden Boot. He’s at 25/1 to end the season as top goalscorer, with Chelsea also having three more games left to play.

Next up are Alexander Isak (33/1) and Ollie Watkins (100/1), who of the most profilic strikers in the Premier League this season. They’ve scored 20 and 19 league goals respectively, which may not be enough to clinch the Golden Boot, but both hauls are definitely worthy of recognition.

Taking up the rest of the top seven in the goal scoring charts are Mohamed Salah (200/1), Heung-min Son (200/1) and Dominic Solanke (200/1), who have scored 18, 17 and 18 goals respectively. All three will have to find the back of the net at an incredible hard in their remaining games to win the Golden Boot, but have reminded fans throughout this campaign that they’re top bagsmen for their clubs.
