Winnipeg will look for a third straight victory to keep the pressure on in the race for a Western Conference wild card place when hosting Boston.
The Bruins are in a battle of their own to try and climb into the top three in the Atlantic Division and secure an automatic spot in the post-season.
Significantly, though, the Jets have scored seven goals in each of their last two games on home ice and another high-scoring affair is on the cards here.
Let’s kick off our Winnipeg Jets vs Boston Bruins predictions by taking 3.4 for the hosts to prevail and over 5.5 goals in the game.

Winnipeg Jets Odds
Kyle Connor has been on fire for Winnipeg lately and is currently on a five-game goal streak, also adding five assists over the same period.
“It’s amazing what happens when you have a shooter’s mindset and you have a skill-set that Connor has,” said coach Dave Lowry.
“He doesn’t pass up opportunities to put the puck at the net. When I say that, he also has an innate ability to make plays.”
Captain Blake Wheeler believes the Jets are high on self-belief and giving themselves every chance of making the playoffs.
“I think we’re confident with the puck right now and we’re making some plays,” he declared.
“We’re starting to get out of our zone a little bit faster and that’s sparking some of our transition game and allowing us to use some of our skill, use some of our speed.
“We haven’t accomplished anything, though, and there’s still a long way to go.”
Expect the Jets to come out strong again and 2.85 for them to win the first period appeals from the NHL odds.
Boston Bruins Odds
Boston coach Brice Cassidy has confirmed that the Bruins will be without forward Patrice Bergeron.
He has left the team and gone back to Boston as he struggles with the re-emergence of an arm injury.
“Something happened in practice – nothing to do with his head (a previous injury in February). It’s somewhere on his arm area,” Cassidy said.
“We’re just trying to be cautious about it at the end of the day. We don’t want anything to come of it.
“It’s too bad, the timing for this particular setback for him.
“But I guess if there’s gonna be a time to get a break for a guy his age, now is not a bad time to sort of get the legs rested up for the home stretch.
“We’ll take it as a positive, assuming it’s nothing that will stretch out for very long.”
Bergeron’s absence will be a big blow for a team trying to force their way into the automatic qualification places.
This could even turn into another emphatic victory for the hosts, who have obliged by margins of three and four in the last couple of contests at this venue.
Punters can get 5.25 for Winnipeg to win by more than 2.5 goals on the spread and that is a value option for our NHL predictions.
