Toronto are back on track after a couple of wins this week and expected to prove a cut above Arizona at Scotiabank Arena.
The Coyotes are coming off a hat-trick of victories themselves, though, and have been scoring heavily, so an entertaining encounter could be on the cards.

Toronto are still on the tails of Florida and Tampa Bay in the Atlantic Division title race after prevailing 5-4 at Columbus on Monday and then seeing off Seattle 6-4 the following night.
Auston Matthews reached 40 goals for the season versus the Blue Jackets before hitting a treble against the Kraken.
The Maple Leafs did trail 4-3 nearly halfway through the third period on Tuesday, but Matthews netted two of their three late strikes.
Mitch Marner, who scored the go-ahead goal for 5-4, said: “We’re never down and out of a game; I think that’s the belief in our team, in our locker room and on the bench.
“When stuff like that happens in games for us, we just get over it, make sure we are ready for the next shift and next opportunity to get on the ice and counter back.”
Toronto haven’t really been blowing teams away recently, though, so 6.25 they oblige by exactly two goals again here catches the eye from the NHL odds.
Arizona Coyotes Odds
Arizona are bottom of the Central Division but have suddenly found a spark of life from somewhere.
The Coyotes upset Stanley Cup favourites Colorado 2-1 and beat Ottawa 8-5 on home ice, before romping to a 9-2 triumph at Detroit.
Nick Schmaltz bagged 11 points in those last two victories, helping Arizona to break all kinds of back-to-back scoring records.
“It was fun out there,” Schmaltz said after the Red Wings rout. “And we’re creating a lot out there. Stuff is going in. Things are going really well.”
Head coach Andre Tourigny added: “Right now, we’re confident, we have momentum and we know we can score.”
Facing a top-five team on the road represents a stiffer test, but the Coyotes are playing with freedom and could still have their moments in this match.
