Beach Volleyball

For a large part of the season, the elite competition of Beach-Volleyball is punctuated by a worldwide and annual competition organized by Volleyball World and the international federation (FIVB) that also manages the indoor volleyball tournaments (all bets on volleyball).

The creation of the Beach Pro Tour will introduce a new look for the 2022 season of beach volleyball around the world. The 2022 Beach Volleyball season will start in Rio in March and run until the end of November in Sydney.

The final event will bring together the top 10 teams of the season.

The most notable change is the elimination of the five-star system, replaced by a three-tier circuit: Elite 16, Challenge and Futures, all of which are aptly named to represent their respective levels of play.

The Elite 16 features the top 16 teams in the world based on points. There are no qualifiers for Elite 16, and how teams will move from the challenger level to Elite 16 remains to be seen. But one thing is clear: starting the year in Elite 16 will be a valuable advantage.

The format of the competition involves four pools of four which will give access to a single-elimination final phase.

The Challenge group will be much more crowded since it will be composed of 32 teams. 24 teams of men and women will participate in a group phase with qualifications.

Finally, the Futures group will be composed of mainly local young teams to develop a sporting sense of beach volleyball in concerned countries.

Betting on the 2022 Beach Volleyball World Championship

This summer, the best female and male beach volleyball pairs in the world will compete in Rome to try and be crowned as champions at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships 2022 from June 7 to 19.

Norway's Anders Mol and Christian Sorum have dominated volleyball in Europe since 2018 and finished two dominant years on the men's beach volleyball circuit with gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and the 2021 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Final.

Betting on the Olympic Beach Volleyball

The men's beach volleyball competition saw three teams from three countries reach the podium for the first time in history: Norway, ROC and Qatar (all beach volleyball H bets).

With the postponement of Tokyo 2020 to 2021, beach volleyball fans don't have to wait much longer to see their favourites win Olympic medals (all beach volleyball F bets). About two and a half years from the next Olympic Games, the road to Paris 2024 will be well and truly engaged.
