Calgary Flames Odds
It was a night to remember for two Flames players as they came from 3-1 down to win 5-3 against Seattle Kraken at Scotiabank Saddledome on Tuesday.
Johnny Gaudreau passed the 100-point barrier for the season courtesy of two assists while Matty Beniers, the number two pick in the 2021 draft, picked up an assist on his NHL debut.
Gaudreau is the ninth Flames player – and first since Theo Fleury in 1992/93 – to reach 100 points in a season. He has 34 goals and 67 assists in 73 games.
He said: “We didn’t play very well in the first two periods. It’s hard to play against teams, sometimes, when they’re not in the play-offs and they play so freely.
“It was tough for us in the first two periods but we battled back in the third.”
Flames thrashed the Golden Knights 6-0 when they last met at this venue in February, leading 3–0 after the first period.
Looking at the Calgary Flames vs Vegas Golden Knights odds, 2.40 for the Flames to be leading after 20 minutes is a solid selection.
Vegas Golden Knights Odds
Defeat in overtime to the Canucks in Vancouver left the Golden Knights three points adrift of the Dallas Stars for the second wildcard spot from the Western Conference.
Vegas are also the same number of points behind the Los Angeles Kings for third in the Pacific Division.
But they are on a good run of form, taking six wins and that OT loss to the Canucks from their previous eight matches.
Alec Martinez, who registered a goal and an assist against the Canucks, said: “Proud of the way the guys battled back.
“Getting points this time of year is big but that said, we’re shooting for two, not one.”
Calgary have conceded an average of two goals per game during their winning streak while Vegas have only once failed to score three or more times in the past eight outings.
Let’s finish off our Calgary Flames vs Vegas Golden Knights betting tips by backing both teams to score 2+ goals at 1.53.
