Toronto can take another smooth step towards wrapping up second place in the Atlantic Division by brushing aside Philadelphia.
The Maple Leafs are chasing a fourth consecutive victory and have twice beaten the faltering Flyers by three goals already this season.
Let’s go with 1.95 for the hosts to prevail by more than 2.5 again here in our Toronto Maple Leafs vs Philadelphia Flyers predictions.

Toronto Maple Leafs Odds
Toronto extended their current hot streak to 10-1-1 when beating the New York Islanders 4-2 at this venue on Sunday.
That result gave us a trio of successful selections in our match preview, including 6.75 for a win by exactly two goals, which was clinched with nine seconds to spare!
William Nylander had a goal and an assist as the Maple Leafs secured a franchise-record 49th win of the campaign.
Nylander hinted that there is little chance of Toronto resting on their laurels, though.
He declared: “We’ve put in a lot of work this season and it’s nice to see some results but in the end that’s not the big result that we want.”
NHL-leading marksman Auston Matthews may again be rested due to a minor injury but the Maple Leafs are now 5-1-0 without him this term.
The stats suggest that 2.55 for the second period to produce the most goals here is good value from the NHL odds.
Both teams have scored their highest totals in the middle section over the full campaign.
Philadelphia Flyers Odds
Philadelphia suffered back-to-back defeats versus Buffalo over the weekend, which made it five straight losses.
The Flyers went down 4-3 on the road on Saturday and then 5-3 at home the following night.
Head coach Mike Yeo said: “At different points, I’d say it’s a matter of execution. At different points, it’s a matter of puck support.
“But the ability to advance the puck, to get the puck out of our zone and to get onto the attack, too many times that turned into chances against or goals against.”
Key forward Cam Atkinson and number one goalie Carter Hart have both missed three straight games due to lower-body injuries.
Philadelphia are still averaging 2.5 goals per game over their last 10 matches, though, so they could contribute towards an entertaining encounter.
Let’s finish off our NHL predictions by taking 1.78 for over 6.5 total goals in this contest.
