Boston Bruins will hope to arrest a two-game slide as they bid to climb into the top three of the Atlantic Division and automatic qualification for the play-offs.
Boston trail the Tampa Bay Lightning by one point with nine games to go while Ottawa have long since been eliminated and will look to build on Tuesday’s 4-1 win at Detroit Red Wings.
Home ice and Boston’s desire to make the top three should help them to victory by three goals at 4.33 to open our Boston Bruins v Ottawa Senators predictions.

Boston Bruins Odds
Boston head coach Bruce Cassidy has urged his side to play more as a team against the Senators.
The Bruins lost an error-strewn game 4-2 to the St Louis Blues and Cassidy wants his team to be more focused down the stretch.
“We made a lot of mistakes,” Cassidy said. “Lack of execution. I think we’re selfish.
“Guys are wanting to hold on to the puck too long, wanting to make the play instead of letting the puck do the work. I think those two things are fairly evident.”
Marc McLaughlin got one of the goals in the loss to the Blues and is relishing the chance to play on a line with Taylor Hall and Erik Haula.
“Playing with two really skilled players, you definitely have to get open for them and find those soft areas in the ice because they’re going to make those plays,” McLaughlin said.
“So it’s been great getting the opportunity with them for sure.”
The Bruins can come out strong to get things back on track after losing three of four and win with over 6.5 goals scored at 2.95 in NHL odds.
Ottawa Senators Odds
The Senators ended a three-game losing streak with the win in Detroit and are playing for pride as attention turns to next season.
Coach DJ Smith believes the Sens can take confidence from the victory and finish the season on a high note.
“It’s a good feeling for a young group to win a grinding kind of game,” Smith said.
Key forward Drake Batherson was happy with his return after sitting out three games with illness that caused him to drop 10lbs in weight.
“I felt good enough to go and I’m happy I came in and the boys got the win,” he said.
Ottawa can ride their confidence and get the first goal of the game at TD Garden at 2.30 to complete our NHL predictions.
