Tottenham require just a point to progress from Europa League Group J when visiting LASK Linz and Jose Mourinho is a past master at grinding out such results.

Spurs cruised to a 3-0 victory when these teams met in London on Matchday 1, but their hosts are rated a better team than they showed that night.

We feel 3/1 for an honourable draw in Austria is the way to go with our first LASK vs Tottenham prediction.

A Look At LASK Linz’s Betting Odds

LASK recovered well from that opening loss to Spurs, shading a seven-goal thriller versus Ludogorets at this venue, despite going down to 10 men on 72 minutes.

Johannes Eggestein’s 54th-minute strike helped them to prevail 1-0 away to Royal Antwerp, even though James Holland was dismissed a quarter of an hour later.

However, more disciplinary problems contributed towards a 2-0 home loss to the Belgian outfit, with both goals coming after Gernot Trauner saw red on 50 minutes.

When they keep their heads, this is a decent side, though, having topped a pool featuring Sporting Lisbon, PSV and Rosenborg last season.

Brugge were then beaten in the first knockout round, before Manchester United proved too strong at the last-16 stage.

This term, LASK beat Sporting 4-1 in Portugal in a play-off and have picked up maximum points from five domestic home fixtures, scoring 15 goals and conceding only one.

Looking at the LASK vs Tottenham odds, we like 15/4 for a score draw in Austria.

A Look At Tottenham Hotspur’s Betting Odds

Spurs followed up their triumph over LASK with a 1-0 defeat in Antwerp but then showed their class in a couple of convincing victories over Ludogorets.

Harry Kane, Lucas Moura and Giovani Lo Celso were on target as Tottenham obliged 3-1 in Bulgaria, while loan signing Carlos Vinicius bagged a brace in a 4-0 home triumph.

Jose Mourinho’s men are also top of the Premier League and unbeaten in that tournament since kicking off with a defeat versus Everton.

However, this tie does come at a tricky time for Spurs, who drew 0-0 when visiting fellow high-flyers Chelsea on Sunday and have a north London derby against Arsenal coming up next.

While Mourinho insisted Tottenham were not satisfied with sharing the spoils at Stamford Bridge, it was a trademark display of discipline in defence.

“I’m very happy with my team, with my guys and this mentality; we came, got the point, we’re top of the league, and we are not happy,” declared Mourinho.

The Spurs boss would surely settle for a similar outcome here, though, especially if making some changes to his starting line-up, as is expected.

Let’s add 21/4 for the scores to be level at half-time and full-time to our LASK vs Tottenham betting tips.
