Rangers face arguably their biggest match of the season less than a month into the new campaign as they bid to reach the group stages of the Champions League in their play-off second leg at PSV Eindhoven.

Armando Obispo’s equaliser at Ibrox gave former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side the edge heading back to Eindhoven.
After the first leg, Van Nistelrooy said: “Next week we have that support but both teams are very level with playing styles so it is reduced to one game, a final at home.
“So we have to prepare and be at our best to get a good game against Rangers.
“I thought it was a game with two halves, Rangers were on top in the first half, although of course we had the goal.
“We were on top in the second half and created more chances. 2-2 was a fair result and now it is reduced to one game.”
PSV winger Cody Gakpo has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United this summer.

Van Bronckhorst’s side hardly had ideal preparation for their Champions League showdown after they had two men sent off and conceded a last-gasp equaliser in a 2-2 draw with Hibernian on Saturday.
Prior to their first-leg 2-2 draw, Rangers had not conceded a goal this season having brushed aside Union Saint-Gilloise in their first qualifying round.
Van Bronckhorst is looking for his side to continue their strong run in Europe, having fallen just short in the final against Eintracht Frankfurt in their memorable Europa League run last season.
But the Dutchman has urged his side to tighten up at set-pieces.
“In the end, we lost a goal from a set-piece and that was disappointing. But the tie is still open and we have the chance to go through next week,” he said after the first leg.
“Of course we can do it. It’s the second leg, they play at home and hopefully we can get more space and try to win. We have to do that to get our goal and we will give everything.”
Summer signing Antonio Colak has hit the ground running, with his goal in the first leg making it four successive matches in which he had scored at the start of the season.
