Germany to beat Spain @ 29/20

Die Mannschaft have had a superb few years, claiming 2014 World Cup glory, reaching the semi-finals of Euro 2016 and landing the Confederations Cup with a youthful squad. Joachim Low’s side scored 43 goals in 10 straight qualifying wins on the road to Russia 2018 and feature in our European football tips as we think they will have too much pace and energy for an ageing Spain side.

Holland to beat England @ 31/20

New Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman will feel as though he has a point to prove against the Three Lions after an unhappy end to his time in the Premier League with Southampton and Everton. The Dutch have a good record against England, being unbeaten in seven meetings since Euro 96, and a hostile atmosphere in Amsterdam can help to inspire the hosts to victory.

Bosnia and Herzegovina to win at Bulgaria @ 11/10

Bosnia failed to qualify for the World Cup but finished their group in good form, securing away wins over Gibraltar and Estonia either side of an entertaining 4-3 loss to Belgium. Talismanic striker Edin Dzeko has been going well for Roma recently, while Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic and Arsenal wing-back Sead Kolasinac are other key figures.

Austria to beat Slovenia @ 18/25

Austria could only manage fourth place in their World Cup qualifying group, but they did close out the campaign with back-to-back wins over table toppers Serbia and Moldova. They then beat Uruguay 2-1 in a November friendly and have a useful squad, with Bayern Munich midfielder David Alaba and West Ham forward Marko Arnautovic backed up by a solid supporting cast.

Turkey to beat Republic of Ireland @ 9/10

Experienced Turkey coach Mircea Lucescu has some talented players to work with, notably Everton forward Cenk Tosun, AC Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu and exciting young Roma playmaker Cengiz Under. A solid World Cup campaign included a 1-0 home win over Croatia and the Republic of Ireland are worth opposing in our European football tips as they have an inexperienced squad here.
