Ottawa deserve plenty of credit for coming on strong at the end of the season and can claim a fourth straight win when hosting New Jersey.
The Devils have just seen their squad weakened by some key absentees and could be forgiven for starting to think about their summer holidays.

Ottawa Senators Odds
Ottawa followed up shootout wins at Vancouver and Columbus by seeing off Montreal 6-4 in front of their own fans.
Mark Kastelic registered his first NHL goals with a double for the Senators, who took control in the second period with three strikes in 1:07 minutes.
“It was a long game and wild,” remarked head coach DJ Smith. “There wasn’t a ton of structure either way, but credit to our guys.
“We found a way to win. We weren’t as sharp as we’ve been, but there was a lot of emotion and it was a fun game.”
Smith has since revealed that Connor Brown will miss the final week of the season, but Thomas Chabot did return from a broken hand against the Canadiens.
Chabot has posted 28 assists in 56 appearances this term and is 2.15 to provide at least one more in the NHL odds for this clash.
New Jersey Devils Odds
New Jersey went through a nice 3-1-1 stretch in the middle of this month but have only picked up one point from three subsequent outings.
Sunday’s 3-0 home loss to Detroit was their worst effort for some time and coincided with a couple of significant illness setbacks.
Nico Hischier was missing against the Red Wings, while fellow forward Jesper Bratt returned after not playing versus Carolina on Saturday.
Head coach Lindy Ruff said: “When we’re missing some of the speed in our game, when you take a Nico out and Bratter is not up to speed, things have to get simple.
“We played well defensively, but the skill part of our game wasn’t at a high enough level.”
Ottawa have beaten New Jersey twice already this term and 7.25 for them to prevail by exactly two goals here completes our NHL predictions.
